FORESTED PORK

We raise our pigs from eight weeks old until around one year old.  We do rotational grazing in forest and brush, and the pigs enjoy free-ranging in these forested paddocks.  We also give them access to mud holes to help keep them cool in the summers, and allow them the pleasure of being pigs.  In addition to their forest diet, we also supplement with an abundance of organic produce scraps from a local produce farmer, as well as raw milk from our dairy cows, and some grains. 

The pigs enjoy daily back scratches from our children, and lots of sunshine and exercise. 

The pigs are butchered and processed at a local, state-inspected butcher.
